Clinic setup
Admin only. This page is for the person setting up a clinic. Most clinicians don’t need it. Clinic-wide settings are available on multi-seat plans; solo users won’t see them.
Setting up a clinic well at the start saves a lot of friction later. Work through these steps in order.
Before you start
- Confirm you are the clinic admin (or have admin access).
- Know your clinic’s basic details: name, address, and contact information.
- Decide who needs access and at what level. See User roles & access.
Setup steps
Enter clinic details
Add your clinic name and details. These can appear on letterhead and patient-facing documents, so enter them carefully.
Configure clinic settings
Review the clinic-wide settings — communication preferences, compliance options, and policies. See Clinic settings.
Invite your team
Invite clinicians and staff and assign each person the right role. See Users & permissions.
Set up templates
Review or adjust note templates so drafts match how your clinic documents. See Templates.
Connect integrations (optional)
Connect the tools your clinic uses — for example, a calendar or practice management system — where those integrations are available. See Integrations.
Confirm billing
Choose or confirm your plan. Some features depend on your plan tier. See Billing.
Plan-gated features
Some capabilities are only available on certain plans — for example, clinic-wide settings, and certain automation and integration features.
If a feature described in these docs isn’t visible in your workspace, it may be gated by your plan, your role, or a per-feature permission. Check Users & permissions and Billing, or ask your Miraa contact.
Safety notes for admins
- Least privilege. Give each person the lowest access level they need.
- Approval stays with clinicians. Admin setup never removes the clinician-approval step for clinical content. See Clinician approval.
- Integrations reflect real status. Only integrations that are genuinely connected will show as connected. See Integrations overview.
Common mistakes
- Inviting everyone as an admin. Reserve admin for the few who manage the clinic.
- Skipping templates, then wondering why drafts don’t match house style.
- Assuming an integration is live before confirming it. Check the status label.
