What is Miraa?
Miraa is an Australian clinical AI workspace for clinicians. It helps you move through the documentation side of a consultation faster, while keeping you in control of every clinical decision.
Miraa listens to a consultation (with consent), produces a draft clinical note, and helps you organise the follow-up work — referrals, recalls, tasks, and patient communication. You review and approve everything before it counts.
Miraa is a clinician-support tool. It does not diagnose, does not replace clinical judgment, and does not make autonomous clinical decisions. Every output is a draft for a clinician to review and approve.
What Miraa helps with
- Preparing for a consultation — surfacing patient context and previous consults so you walk in informed.
- Capturing the consultation — ambient audio capture and transcription.
- Drafting documentation — a structured clinical note (SOAP-style) drafted from the transcript and the patient record.
- Closing the loop — draft referrals, follow-up tasks, recalls, and patient messages, surfaced for your review.
- Staying safe and compliant — consent prompts, an audit trail, clinic-level access controls, and a mandatory clinician-approval step.
What Miraa is not
- It is not a diagnosis engine. It does not decide what is wrong with a patient.
- It does not finalise records automatically. Nothing becomes part of the record until a clinician approves it.
- It is not a replacement for your professional judgment, your clinic’s policies, or your legal and professional obligations.
The core loop
Almost everything in Miraa follows the same six-step loop. Learn this first.
Prepare
Open the workspace, confirm the correct patient, and review their context and previous consults.
Capture
Confirm consent where required, then start the consultation and let Miraa capture it.
Generate
Miraa produces a draft note plus suggested tasks and follow-ups.
Verify
Check the draft against what actually happened — facts, medications, diagnoses, plan, referrals, and follow-ups.
Approve
You, the clinician, review and approve. Nothing is final until you do.
Close the loop
Confirm referrals, follow-up tasks, recalls, and any patient communication.

Where Miraa runs
- Web app — the primary workspace, used in the browser.
- iOS app — a companion app on the same account and backend. Needs confirmation — feature parity with the web app varies; check which features your clinic has enabled.
