Miraa produces draft content. A clinician must review and approve everything before it enters a patient record.

HealthLink

Status: In development — vendor-gated. HealthLink is a secure-messaging integration that requires vendor/partner approval before it can transmit. In the current product it enforces clinician approval and can hold messages, but it does not transmit referrals electronically yet. Do not assume live transmission.

What it’s for

HealthLink is a widely used secure-messaging network in Australian healthcare. The integration is intended to let clinics send referrals and clinical messages securely to other providers.

What data may be exchanged

When live, HealthLink would carry clinical messages such as referrals — containing personal and clinical information — to intended healthcare recipients.

Current behaviour

  • The integration is approval-gated: clinician approval is enforced before a message would be sent.
  • It does not perform live electronic transmission in the current product.
  • Until it’s confirmed live for your clinic, send referrals through your existing clinic process. See Referrals.

Setup requirements

  • Vendor/partner approval with HealthLink is required before the integration can operate. Needs confirmation
  • Clinic admin access to configure it once available.

User permissions required

Configuring integrations is an admin task. Sending clinical messages requires clinician approval of the content.

Operational cautions

⚕️

A referral is clinical content. It must be clinician-approved before it’s sent, and it must go to the correct recipient. Until HealthLink is confirmed live, don’t rely on Miraa to transmit — use your current process.

Troubleshooting

  • Expected a referral to send electronically but it didn’t? That’s expected if HealthLink isn’t live for your clinic. Confirm status with your Miraa contact and use your existing process.
